Mathematics, Mental Abacus,
and English — taught with care.
Three specialist programs, designed to work together. Children begin with abacus and mental arithmetic, build fluency through our primary and secondary mathematics curriculum, and develop the reading and writing habits that sustain academic success.
Abacus & Mental Arithmetic
An early-years foundation in number sense, attention, and mental calculation. Students progress from physical abacus to mental imagery, with a clear path toward World Abacus Level Certification.
- 1.5 hours / week · ~1 year cycle
- World Abacus Level Certification
- Intensive class for competition pathway
Mathematics
A continuous Primary-to-VCE pathway taught with our in-house Core Mathematics series. Aligned to the Australian Curriculum, enriched with Asian-style problem-solving for depth and fluency.

- Mid-term + end-of-term assessments
- In-house Core Mathematics textbook series

- Reading · Vocabulary · Writing · Thinking
- Set novel study each term (upper years)
Every minute of every lesson
should earn its place.
We design each program around explicit teaching, guided practice, and frequent checkpoints so students recognise their own progress. Small class sizes let teachers attend to every child; structured assessment closes gaps before they compound.
Curriculum-Aligned
Every program tracks the Australian and Victorian Curriculum so school learning and tutoring reinforce one another.
Term-Aligned Schedule
Classes follow Victorian school term dates with mid-term and end-of-term assessments built into the cycle.
Original Materials
Our Core Mathematics and Golden Abacus textbooks were written in-house and refined over a decade of classroom use.
